This month I’m going to be sharing what there is to know about yellow and how yellow can help you. Colour generally is very emotive and can evoke positive emotions as well as negative ones. What do you feel when you look at this? Concentrate on the colour yellow within the image.
Yellow Energy in Medicine
So let’s look at yellow. Yellow is the sunshine colour and when the sun comes out, we all feel better for it. Yellow is also the colour of the mind and of thought and relates to self‑confidence and self-esteem. Both self-confidence and self-esteem can be biggies for the best of us, even if we don’t show outwardly that we’re lacking in these things. Children naturally have confidence in themselves, with high self-esteem and self-worth. It’s our experiences and how we decode them and how much we believe what is expressed to us in negative ways that see our self-esteem and self-confidence crumbling. We put ‘plasters’ over the hurt and stoically carry on because we perceive there is nothing we can do. We don’t understand that we have just bought into someone else’s perception of us, which invariably is not correct.
How confident are you in life today? And what about your self-esteem and self-worth? Have you managed to remove, or at the very least, reduce these shackles from your life? Sometimes it’s just a case of facing your fears and going after whatever it is that you want from life. Perhaps it’s that qualification you didn’t quite get at school, but you now feel you’re very capable of achieving it, but that old chestnut ‘am I good enough’ is stopping you from going for it. Thinking about ‘am I good enough’, who told you that you weren’t? Were other negative things said to you repeatedly that consequently you yourself believed you ‘weren’t good enough’. It’s now time to release these self-limiting beliefs, because every single one of us is good enough.
We are all aware of back-stabbers and we’ve probably all been on the receiving end and quite likely dishing it out at some point also. But what this does is lower the vibration of our interactions. Isn’t it so much better to raise the vibration of our interactions? Think how you feel when someone pays you a compliment, this is a time when you should feel chuffed that someone thinks well of you. Don’t hide away from these things.
Recently I did a psychic fayre and on the organiser’s Facebook page she wrote how lucky she and the fayre were to have me exhibiting there. Well I felt like a million dollars, just a couple of words and my vibration became very high, influencing everything. Yellow is confidence, yellow is expansive, sunny and willing. And you can be all these things too.
